Although it has been advertised as a serious movie this is actually a sharply observed parody of the dinosaur genre with a lot of genuinely laugh out loud moments. At one stage the producers even poke fun in their own direction as a low budget film crew are decimated by a T-Rex. There are some okay moments of action but if you're looking for a tense Jurassic Park style movie then this is not going to make the grade. It's clearly intended to be a comedy and can be enjoyed on the same level as the movies you see from The Asylum like Sharknado..
